On Saturday the 27th instant

I called

at the office of the

Public Works Department to see Mr. Tooker to ascertain when

the

Overseer would

the ballast which we put into the

cars for testing.

Mr Tooker not

being available

I saw Mr. Chatham who told

me that

before 12 o'clock.

The Overseer would

be at 7

on Monday morning

to see the ballast weighed

to the Office of the Public Works Department and

saw Mr. Tooker.

I asked him what he meant
